Do the liquid states of Oxygen and Hydrogen still retain the O2 and H2 chemical formulas, or do they change?

Liquid hydrogen is the liquid state of the element hydrogen. Its name is often abbreviated LH2
In the same way the common formula of liquid oxigen is LOx
The formulas are the same ( H2 and O2 ) but these symbols are often used
Yes. Solid O2 or H2 might have different chemical formulas, but I doubt it.
There are no changes in the molecules or their molecular formulae… only a change in their State.
Just like water, and any other substance, they can exist as Solids, Liquids or Gases…i.e. ‘The Three States of Matter’.
Each substance has its own Latent Heats (of Fusion and Vaporisation) and Specific Heat (Temperature change), capacities.
